Meet Allen Buansi
All ages are invited to join Binkley friends and guests for dinner (6:00-6:30 pm) in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a program for adults (6:30-7:15 pm).

We, Binkleyites, felt both sadness and deep gratitude when Verla Insko retired from her 25 years of excellent service in the NC House. Nevertheless, a brilliant and charismatic Allen Buansi has followed in her footsteps. Allen’s public service began in high school in Chapel Hill, registering voters.
He has served on the board of the local NAACP, as well as on the NC DOJ, and Chapel Hill Town Council. His emphases in the NC House include public education, greater access to medical care, reproductive rights, and environmental justice.
