The Rev. Dr. Marcus McFaul, will present a program titled, Being Baptist, Staying Baptist? This program will explore the history of the Baptist movement and present-day challenges to the name “Baptist.”

In recent years, many congregations, including our own, have struggled with whether to keep or move away from the label. As an ecumenical church consisting of many members from a variety and assortment of Christian traditions and backgrounds, yet also one firmly anchored in the Baptist heritage of freedom and faithfulness, navigating these waters and these times can be confounding. This is the first of several conversations, presentations, and discussions on congregational identity.
