Clean-Up-A-Thon of Bolin Creek
Who: Individuals, families and faith communities in Orange and Chatham Counties
When: Saturday, March 18, from 10 AM — Noon
Where: Meet at 10am at the Chapel Hill Community Center Park (1205. Estes Dr.) for
brief instruction and inspiration.
Details: We’ll work on the section of Bolin Creek from Community Center Park to Umstead Park. We’ll split into two teams, with one working downstream from Umstead Park and the other upstream from Community Center Park, meeting at Bolinwood Dr. near its crossing over Bolin Creek. While collecting trash, we’ll also be scouting for any invasive plants that we may remove on a later project.
What s Needed:
- Wear rugged clothes and shoes you can get muddy or wet.
- Bring work gloves if you have them. (A limited number of gloves will be provided.)
- Bring your own water and snacks.
- Trash bags will be provided.
