CROP Hunger Walk
What are you doing Sunday afternoon June 4th? Would you like a way to visit with friends, make new friends, enjoy the outdoors, get exercise, AND help change the world?
Come walk with us in the annual CROP Hunger Walk to raise funds to fight hunger in our community and around the world. We’ll start at the Carrboro Commons.
Registration starts at 1:30 PM and the Walk starts at 2:30 PM. There will be music and snacks and plenty of water before and after the walk.
There are hundreds that walk either 1.5 miles or 4 miles, depending on you. Police and monitors will be there to ensure safety in case you’d like to walk.
See Craig Meisner or Roal Carlson at the CROP Hunger Walk table in the narthex where you can get your walker envelope.
Shirts will be for sale for $7 every Sunday until June 4.
The CROP Walk is sponsored by The Interfaith Council and Church World Services.
