Friends of Binkley (FoB) Book Club Meeting
The next selection of the Friends of Binkley Book Club will be Matthew Desmond’s Poverty, by America.
Desmond is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Evicted. Anyone interested in a “slow read” of this book please join in our first discussion on June 6.
We will discuss the Prologue and Chapter 1: The Kind of Problem Poverty Is. The premium is on thoughtful discussions rather than rapid reads.
Discussions are over Zoom from noon to 1:15 p.m. every other Tuesday.
