Intergenerational Labor Day Service Project

We’ll assemble BLESSING BAGS for those we meet that need simple food or toiletry items. After gathering the supplies, we’ll assemble as many bags as possible and those not taken by the congregation will be distributed to organizations working with unhoused individuals.

Please bring your donations to the bin outside Amy’s office as early as possible so that we can provide for shortages.

Items Needed for Unhoused Care Packages:

Non-Perishable Good Items that are easy to eat such as:

• Water Bottles
• Packaged Tuna
• Apple Sauce in Cartons
• Raisins and Other Dried Fruit
• Peanut Butter Cracker Packs
• Cheese Cracker Packs
• Easy Open Cans of Chili and/or Beans
• Soft Breakfast Bars
• Protein Bars

Travel Size Toiletries

• Toothbrush and Toothpaste
• Bandages
• Wet Wipes (individually wrapped)
• Sunscreen
• Lotion (unscented)
• nail clipper
• lip balm
• tisssues
• comb or brush
