“Myth America” Presentation by Milbre Burch

You’re invited to join Olin T. Binkley Church members and staff for a free evening of storytelling for adult listeners featuring GRAMMY-nominated, Oracle award-winning, Chapel Hill-based storyteller Milbre Burch in the Binkley Fellowship Hall!

The program will include a performance of “Myth America,” a work centered around voter suppression, civil rights violations, and the importance of engaged citizens in our democracy.

The event will also include guest speaker Mary Wood, a South Carolina High Advanced Placement Teacher whose censorship by the school board was reported in the Washington Post.

A voter registration opportunity will be available during this event! So will dessert!
