What Would Mechthild Say? Thoughts from a Medieval Mystic about the Church Today
All ages are invited to join Binkley friends and guests for supper (6:00-6:45 pm) in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a speaker for adults, with a separate children’s activity (6:45-7:30 pm).
Meal ($10 for adults; $5 for children; family discounts available).
Micheal Palmer recently spoke in a Sunday School forum about what the Early Church might say to us in 2023 about the Church and its future.
During the program, What Would Mechthild Say? Thoughts from a Medieval Mystin about the Church Today, we will consider insights from Mechthild of Magdeburg (1207-82). She lived in a time of trial for the Church, and her visions as an “unruly woman of God” and her challenge to the church of her day are relevant for us.
No boring lecture. PowerPoint and time for discussion. Led by Stephanie Ford.
Part of Wednesday Nights @ Binkley.
