Yam Jam Outing

Youth AND adults are welcome to join the Binkley Youth Group for Yam Jam. This is an opportunity to glean sweet potatoes to send to food banks around the area.

As we know sweet potatoes are a super food and this can be a
great way of helping to get healthy food into the hands of those who may otherwise struggle to afford nutritious foods. All participants do need to sign a waiver and Amy can get that to you electronically or in a paper version.

Our plan is to leave from Binkley at 8:30 am, travel to the designated farm in Johnston County, glean for Yam Jam, then have lunch with the Watts Street Youth Group before returning to
Chapel Hill in early afternoon.
