Stewardship 2021

Dear Fellow Stewards of Binkley Baptist Church,
We start our stewardship campaign in a year when so much has changed for everyone, yet we continue to see the importance of caring for others at every turn. Caring and sharing are at the heart of our stewardship as we meet the needs of others.
The theme for this year’s stewardship campaign is “Stewardship is Heart Work”. Our stewardship can be provided in many ways. For example, we care for the Church building, maintain the Church grounds, pay salaries for staff, support special projects, and support numerous other causes. Stewardship is also giving of our time and talent. We all have things that we can contribute to help others that are needed as much as financial assistance. Can a value be placed on a card, letter, or phone call sent to a shut-in? Caring is sharing as we serve others in many ways.
This year we are conducting our Stewardship campaign virtually from October 18 to November 1. Below, you will find a link to a virtual pledge card. Click on the pledge card, complete your information, and send it. Members who do not receive email will receive a pledge card in the mail. If you prefer to send a paper copy of your pledge, print the pledge card, complete your information, and return by the United States Postal Service.
In the Bible, we read “For where your Treasure is, there will your Heart be also.” (Matthew 6:21 and Luke 12:34). Your treasure may be helping the homeless, feeding those who have food insecurity, standing up for justice for all, or giving that much-appreciated call to a shut-in.
Let your Heart be your guide as you consider your pledge.
