Poetry Night: Fall Reflections
All ages are invited to join Binkley friends and guests for supper (6:00-6:45 pm) in the Fellowship Hall, followed by a speaker for adults, with a separate children’s activity (6:45-7:30 pm).
Meal ($10 for adults; $5 for children; family discounts available). Dinner will be catered by Mediterranean Deli.
Autumn brings the possibilities around change into daily focus. For example, what is it like for the leaf to let go of Mother Tree, how do creatures prepare for the colder nights and the bidding of hibernation? Where are we individually and as a community been invited to change, let go, and also lay fallow.
Please bring a poem to share. Themes include transformation, Sabbath, and letting go (but please don’t limit yourself).
