It is with a heavy heart I make you aware that our beloved Pastor Emeritus, The Rev. Dr. Robert Seymour, passed away this afternoon at 12:39 pm at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill. Dr. Seymour had fallen during the night and was rushed to the ER. At age 95 surgery was not an option. We hold his family deep in our hearts as they mourn; daughter Frances and her husband Mike, and son Rob and his wife Kelly and their children. When service details are finalized you will be informed. I know that Bob Seymour’s life and witness of the good gospel, his unwavering commitment to justice and peace, and his unfailing shepherd’s heart will be missed by all of us. He was aware and grateful of your love and prayers til the very end. With much affection for you, Marcus
